In a town called China, there lived a girl called Amy who lived with her grandma. She was going to a new school. “Granny!!!” Amy called “I’m hungry”. Dear your food is ready!!!” said her grandma. Amy went to the dining room and saw that she had cereal mixed with marsh mellows. When she finished she had a talk about her new school with her grandma. The next day she planned to go to visit her best friend from her previous school. Her best friend’s name was Erica. Amy didn’t want to go to Erica’s house anymore because she wanted to have a tour around her new school. When she looked in her class she saw that there was a playroom, a white board and there was a shop in the middle of her school. She went back home and was surprised to see Erica waiting at her gate. Amy ran to her best friend and gave her a hug. They smiled and were very happy. As they started to play, Amy began to say in a low tone “Erica I’m sorry that I would never see you again because I have to go to a new school”. “So that means that this is my last time seeing you, my best friend!!!” Erica cried. Amy’s Mum saw them sobbing together she felt bad and told them that she would allow Amy go for a sleepover at Erica’s house. In the night when Erica and Amy were in the room and they started planning on how they can see each other more often.
The Monday after that autumn weekend was going to be Amy’s first day at school. Amy got to school, went into her class and was surprised to see Erica. Amy excitedly walked up to Erica and said “I can’t believe I’m seeing you in my class on my first day of school!” Everyone cheered Erica and Amy. Amy liked her new school even more because her best friend was there. Amy and Erica had lots of fun in their new school. They made new friends and everyone knew them. Amy then asked Erica “Why didn’t you tell me you were coming to this new school too?” Erica told her “I couldn’t imagine life in the old school without you. So I had a long chat with my Mum and gave her reasons why I should go to the new school and surprisingly she agreed.”
Amy gave Erica a long hug and said “Erica, thank you for making my first day in school and a memorable one.” Erica and Amy had a great stay in their new school and at the end of the term they participated in a Writing competition and their team won the prize, Friendship rocks!
